Who runs OxonDads and Think Dad
Oxondads.co.uk and events for Dads around the county are organised by ‘Think Dad’ - a team of Dads and Dads’ Workers around the county brought together by Oxfordshire Parenting Forum. Think Dad aims to promote greater support for dads and their involvement in their children’s lives. It also acts as a pressure group for Dads’ issues in the county. In addition it oversees the Oxondads website and provides a meeting place for Dads’ Workers to meet together for mutual support and encouragement. Any Dads or Dads’ workers wanting to get involved in Think Dad are welcome to contact any of the OPF Dads’ Worker team (below).
Our gallery shares images of past events organised by the Think Dad team together with some images from Dads’ Groups in two children’s centres in Oxfordshire. These include:
• Oxon Early Years Play Day 2007
• Dads Go Wild 2009 and 2010
• Launch of Oxondads.co.uk
• Oxon Festival of Outdoor Learning 2010
• Grandpont Children’s Centre Dads’ group
• The Leys Children’s Centre Dads’ group.
We believe we have the permission of all parents of children in the photos to use the images on this website. If we are mistaken or any parents wish to withdraw their consent please contact the Oxfordshire Parenting Forum as soon as possible,

Fathers Worker
Rob is our Outdoor Learning Development Worker (fathers). He is the project leader for Dads Outdoors which aims to increase fathers' involvement in their children's lives through outdoor play. Outdoor activities have proved to be very popular with fathers from all backgrounds and are a very practical way of develop- ing and sustaining fathers’ involvement in their children’s development. Rob is working with 9 settings across Oxfordshire to develop regular father-led activities that maximise the use of the local environment by fathers and their families. He will also be organising three regional events (North, City and South) to promote fathers’ involvement in children’s and families’ outdoor learning and play.
